Field Evaluations – Getting Started
How soon do you need your equipment Field Labeled? Which Standard should your

Onsite Evaluation
Our Field Evaluation Engineers are ready to come to you. They work hard to get the
job done. We will coordinate work with electrical contractors or
maintenance staff if modifications need to be made. We’ll meet with your
Inspector if needed. Field Labeling Reports are issued quickly.
Hazardous Location Testing
Our Certified Engineers are the Hazardous Location equipment experts in North American and international Product Safety. We provide onsite evaluation and labeling for many different types of equipment, including: Remediation skids and buildings, Purged and Pressurized control panels, Intrisically Safe controls and machinery, paint spray booths, alternative fuel dispensing equipment, compressed natural gas and hydrogen dispening and storage systems, waste water treatment systems, flammabile coating and dipping process equipment, powder coating systems, oxidizers, semiconductor gas cabinets, gas analyzers, and much more. Evaluation Standards include UL 698A, NFPA 496, NFPA 34, NFPA 30, NFPA 33 and international Atex Standards.
In-House Evaluation
Cord-connected equipment needing Field labeling can be shipped or delivered to our Testing
Laboratory. This option saves time and money for smaller pieces of
equipment.
Control Panel Program
Our control panel seminars are usually a one-day program designed to allow you to place a US
Certification Mark on your control panels before they are shipped or delivered. The program offers
certification to UL508A and UL698A. In addition, we have a NFPA 79 module for Industrial systems.
